DO NOT BOIL the glass hydration bottle.
No, the glass hydration bottles cannot be used with boiling water since it is made from soda lime glass. Although soda lime glass is strong, it is not resistant to rapid temperature changes or impact. If bottle is left in car during extreme temperatures, glass can become damaged. It will expand and crack if left in the freezer or hit with boiling water.
DO NOT PUT OUR GLASS HYDRATION BOTTLES IN THE FREEZER OR BOILING WATER. See Care & Use instructions for details.
Yes. Lifefactory glass baby bottles are made from borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is known for its superior durability, chemical and heat resistance, and is excellent for use in chemical laboratory equipment and cookware. This allows the baby bottle to go from the freezer to boiling water pot.
When freezing, store the bottle in an upright position. DO NOT FILL TO TOP. Leave a minimum of 2oz/58 ml of open space from neck of bottle to allow for expansion and prevent glass breaking while frozen. See Care & Use instructions for details.
No, you can leave the sleeve on the bottle and wash the whole thing in the dishwasher. The bottle and sleeve in tandem can be placed on the bottom rack of the dishwasher.
If you wish to remove the sleeve from a hydration bottle, baby bottle, or food storage container, it’s best to use warm, soapy water to carefully slide the sleeve off of the glass. To put the sleeve back on the product, use warm soapy water to slide the sleeve back onto the glass. Rinse off any residual soap from the bottle and let dry.
For beverage glasses and wine glasses, we do not recommend removing the sleeve from the glass.
